Long Island, New York Native James R. Mackey 2 is an ambitiously creative; uplifiting inspirational christian music artist. He is also a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who has had the opportunity of preaching for over 20 years (starting at the age of 15).

 

He is a song writer, a musician, a community activist, and a founder of multiple student, youth and young adult initiatives including the founding of one of Long Island, NY's largest youth leadership conferences entitled, THE GLOW CONFERENCE.

 

Hitting the music scene in the summer of 2019; James R. Mackey 2 started building his World of Music with the intention of reaching, empowering and uplifting student, youth & young adults with faith filled music that points directly toward the message of God's Grace thru Faith & the gift of Salvation thru Christ Jesus.

BE BOLD feat. Philadelphia dynamic CHH artist Doc Hero, Mackey's first music single which was release in 2019. James followed Be Bold with he second music single entitle GODSPEED featuring Grammy Nominated musician, composer, trumpeter Christopher Michael Stevens. In 2023 James released this 3rd music single entitled Galaxy Arcade featuring the multi-talened talk box music artist/musician Ricky Belfort & rising start Roxxet (Rocket Ismail Jr).

This year, James is continuing the music adventure. He is excited to release BE BOLD LIVE (Special Edition Mix) & brand new  upcoming single "TOMORROW LAND".
